Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region

The Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region employs about 3,000 workers who report to different organizational units.

The Regional Civil Protection, the Forestry Service, ARPA (Regional Environmental Protection Agency), ERSA (Regional Agency for Rural Development), as well as the local authorities of the territory, refer to the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region.

The large number of people to be managed and the multiplicity of entities and workplaces to be assessed in terms of work risks, constitute critical issues for the functions in charge.

Integration between regional management systems and Q-81 HSE for occupational health and safety management was one of the objectives of the project.

Management of personnel training, health surveillance, delivery of personal protective equipment, and computerization of the risk assessment document were the project targets as early as 2015, when the collaboration began.

The needs subsequently expressed by the various Regional Bodies made it possible to broaden the project scope by covering the different processes managed.

The support to accompany the Administration towards the implementation of ISO 45001 represents the challenge to be accomplished in the next steps.
